Red: The colour of the beginning 

I remade a red kimono using traditional Japanese sewing techniques, for the first time. The Red kimono has been reborn and it now starts a new life.

 

 White: The colour of the end

 This old kimono was discovered at the old house where an elderly lady lived alone. When she died, the life of a kimono also ended.  I have now given it a new lease of life. 

 

 Doll: Imitation human

 I made two dolls which are half the size of myself.

 Even though they were made to look like humans, they never wake up.

 They never move, but they never rot.

 Glass eyes certainly have light, but they never look into us.

One open their mouth, other closes their mouth.
